Welcome to Cherokee Heights Parent Involvement Program. Our program is facilitated by our full-time Parent Coordinator, Mrs. Andino. The goal of our program is to involve all Cherokee parents in our school. When parents are involved in their child's education, students become higher achievers!
Volunteer opportunities for parents include: Library help • read with a child • mentor a child in our CHAMPS Program • field trips • office help • be a classroom helper • Picture day •share a culture with a classroom • Be a member of our decision making teams: Site Council, PTO
Evening activities for families include: Multicultural Art Fair • Science Fair Night • Family Fun Night • Curriculum Night • Parent groups • Morning coffee • 6th grade Exchange City • Hmong New Year • Cinco De Mayo • African American Parent Involvement Day
